Example of Programme undertaken

Programme Details
We were invited by the client company to undertake the delivery of City and Guilds Level 2 Performing Manufacturing Operations NVQs to the workforce and Business Improvement Techniques and Technical Services NVQs to a selection of the supervisors.

Preparation
The client company operated a single shift system at the start of our programme. It has an established training centre and an acceptance of the need for and value of training.

Course Delivery
The courses for the operators ran smoothly, as the supervisors re-arranged work tasks so that the training could be integrated as much as possible into the daily work schedules. Attendance by the supervisors was more problematic, ac they awarded their own priorities to meeting the immediate needs of production.

Outcomes
All learners qualified. We were then invited to develop the supervisors further, with course on team-leading and to continue with the workforce with health and safety training.
