These courses are based on the occupational standards approved by the print sector and the sector skills council, Proskills UK. The qualifications are elements within the only occupationally-based qualification for the printing sector, which covers all the work based competencies for workers within the UK printing industry.

WHO ARE THEY FOR? These qualifications were established by leading organisations within the UK distribution industry for widespread use across all manufacturing and distribution sectors.

They are appropriate for anyone involved in packaging activities who wish to have their current skills assessed and recognised against accredited national standards and to raise their individual level of competence at work to meet those standards.

Level 1 relates to candidates who carry out a selection of tasks under supervision. Level 2 candidates should be able to carry out all packaging-related tasks, including line-changeovers.

    • A qualification which is yours and yours alone, which is recognised internationally
